If the man in your life is anything like mine, he’ll be the kind of husband who quietly does everything you need him to, complaining rarely and going the extra mile regularly. He’ll be the kind of modern partner who is truly a partner and support – and the best dad you could wish for for your children. He’ll be the guy you lean on, but perhaps don’t lean into often enough, because – life. So this Father’s Day, you’ll be wanting to treat him to a special gift which he’ll really appreciate.

I don’t know about you, but I often struggle to know what my husband might like. We certainly don’t need more clutter in our lives – our little ones create quite enough of that! So I’ve put together this Father’s Day gift guide to provide you with some ideas which might just appeal to the man who is short on time but big on aspiration for the finer things in life.

Wooden Watch

My husband is a tradesman, so come the weekend he usually chooses to kick off his grubby work ‘uniform’ and dress a little smarter. One of his particular interests in timepieces, so I’m always on the lookout for unusual watches which I think he’ll love. This Jord wooden watch was a hit last year! (Read my full review here.)

Fedora Hat

Another year my daughter (I) treated him to a trilby. When we were younger he used to wear hats more often, but these days he mostly sticks to a lovely leather flat cap I bought him. I thought this was a little different for the summer and he does come back to it from time to time.

I think it’s youthful which, with two small people who don’t sleep, is no bad thing! (Don’t tell him I said so.)

Does he have an interest or passion which he doesn’t often have time for these days?

My husband enjoys teaching himself to play his ukulele, and this one is a very cool, quirky design. In years to come – and as our girls lose interest in spending time with us! – I dare say he’ll have more opportunities to indulge, and it’s a lovely idea to encourage our partners by buying into that future hobby.

Choosing the perfect gift can be a challenge, why not make an easy choice and select a brand you trust and a premium product you know he’ll appreciate?

Sometimes it’s the simple upgrades in life which can make the greatest impact. If you struggle for time as our family does, then gifting a quality item which will be used every day could be equally special as a novel product which will get limited use. My husband was a big fan of the Braun Series 3 ProSkin for exactly this reason!

This shaver is perfect for the man in your life no matter his personal style – with this new 3-in-1 solution which can be used for a close, comfortable shave or adapted for use as a sharp, precise beard trimmer, this is the ideal tool.

Braun is designed for what matters, just like Dad.

This Father’s Day, give Dad an upgrade he’ll use – and love – day in and day out. Whatever his style, find a Father’s Day gift that he’ll want to use all year round at Braun.com/UK.

Of course you can’t go wrong with a classic fragrance such as CK One – especially since this specific choice is unisex, wink wink.

I hope this gift guide has given you some inspiration for ways to show your appreciation of Dad, whether it’s your own father or your loved one.

  1. Brilliant selection of presents! Aftershave is always a winner and a ukulele is such a lovely idea (you might regret that one after a few hours though!)
