Is your child starting to ask awkward questions about the logistics of Santa during a pandemic? I’ve created a free personalised and printable letter from Father Christmas describing the measures in place to ensure he will still be able to visit – because who’s better placed to explain the magic of Christmas than the big man himself?!
Not only have I put together a letter, I’ve actually created a personalised Santa letter, and I’ve made it in three different designs for you to choose from, ice, red, or holly:
Even better, your free printable Santa letters also come in either preschool or school age, for maximum impact with your child!
Here’s what you can expect from the letter…
The font makes it look handwritten, and has customisable spaces for you to personalise the name and year group of your child. It talks about how proud we all are of our children this year and how, even if they’ve not been perfect (who has?), they have been good.
The letter mentions that yes, santa will be visiting as usual! However presents may not be as expected this year – with what I hope passes as a satisfactory explanation! It goes on to explain the safety precautions Father Christmas will be taking, and that visits during the festive season may sadly be affected, but not if he can help it.
Finally, the letter also talks about how things may be different this year, and the true meaning of Christmas.
It’s been such a tough year I wanted to do something to reassure our little ones, to their restore their hope and reaffirm their belief in magic.

Choose your preferred design and age from the below files, then simply download and personalise with your child’s name and class!
Note: I had to use a specific format to make these files customisable, and you will most likely will be unable to download or open them on a mobile phone. The files are not broken, but for the software required to access them, you’ll probably need a desktop computer.
Enjoy, and please pass on the festive cheer by sharing with your friends and family!
