Living Arrows 32/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran

This weekend hubby and I went to collect our new car. We knew Pixie would be bored to tears if she had to come for the 90 minute journey (each way), so we planned for her to stay overnight with her grandparents.

She was returned to us on Sunday morning and we went for a family day out at a local petting farm. When we arrived the car park was packed out, presumably because Peppa was due to make an appearance. I get really quite anxious in big crowds and I was beginning to dread the afternoon, especially as the last few times I’ve been there I’ve been quite unimpressed. But I must admit we had a brilliant day – they’ve made so many improvements!

The weather was perfect, Elfin slept, and Pixie was in her element.

Maybe because my expectations were low, I ended up being so glad we gave it a try. We had such a perfect family day in the end and we’ll definitely be returning!
