#FeelSuper with Frankie Bridge and Support Marie Curie
Yesterday Frankie hosted a fabulous event to celebrate and promote the campaign, with afternoon tea and beauty treatments for some lucky bloggers. And I was gutted that I was unable to attend! I went last year and had such a fantastic time – alas a small baby is not conducive to the travel, nor to allowing Mummy some (much-needed) ‘me-time’. No matter, in contrast to the critical nature of #FeelSuper, my woes are very definitely third world problems!
The campaign is dedicated to raising funds for the fabulous palliative care provided by the wonderful Marie Curie charity, the UK’s leading terminal illness charity which is completely reliant upon donations. It’s such a worthy cause, and best of all this campaign could not be easier to get involved with and take part – without it costing you a penny:
From September 20th to October 17th, every time a shopper in the UK purchases select P&G products from Superdrug, a donation will be triggered. It’s that simple.
#FeelSuper is now in its third consecutive year, and has now raised nearly half a million pounds for Marie Curie – this is the next big target, one which Frankie Bridge is asking us all to help reach as a community. When you consider that 19% of people living with a bereavement believe that better end of life care could have helped them to deal with their loss by preserving memories of happier times*, the significance of the crucial service becomes clear.
Frankie says, “I’ve seen first-hand the effect money raised through the #FeelSuper campaign has on the lives of those living with terminal illnesses, their friends and their families. I want to thank everyone who has supported us so far and ask them to get behind us once again and get to our goal of £500,000. It’s so easy to get involved, simply treat yourself to your everyday purchases such as Oral-B toothpaste or Pantene shampoo and ‘Feel Super’ knowing that your small purchase is making a big difference.”

After October 17th select products bearing the Marie Curie logo will continue to trigger donations, so you can keep supporting the charity through next month and beyond.
